Why

We do not have any understanding of why. We each have
friends, acquaintances, and Thelma is especially loved by all
that meet her and know her.

Why?

It might be because people feel when you are genuine. People
appreciate when you truly listen to them, when you are
proactive about helping them and strive to be fair in all your
interactions. People help the people. And the right ones notice
that.

We try to trust people because we need them. We understand
how healthy and vital it is to trust people, so the ones that
choose to trust Thelma and I might have a good intuition.
“Collaboration and cooperation are essential for human life.
Improving interpersonal relationships is intrinsically gratifying.
It is also a fundamental human need to belong. A feeling of
belonging can promote both physical and mental health.
One essential part of this collaborative aspect of society will
always remain trust. Trust implies accepting a certain mutual
risk regarding the other person.”(2016)1 We are grateful they
chose us. Thelma deserves all this trust and caring and much
more.

“As Maslow has shown in his pyramid of needs, one of the
fundamental needs of ours is: Love and
belongingness which involves: friendship, intimacy, trust, and
acceptance, receiving and giving affection and love. Affiliating
and being part of a group (family, friends, work).”(McLeod,
2020)2 Preferably each one of those groups. Through trusting
us they connect and we satisfy this need. The good part is that
by choosing Thelma they place their trust in safe hands.
